Terms & Conditions
Last updated:
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the ClockIt Parents mobile app and the clockitparents.com website (the "Service") provided by ClockIt ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service.
2. Not legal advice
ClockIt is a documentation and recordkeeping tool. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice, interpret the law, determine whether a custody order was violated, or accuse any person of misconduct. The Service records events and calculates time using neutral terminology. No attorney–client relationship is created by your use of the Service. Consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction for legal advice. Whether any record is admissible as evidence is decided solely by the applicable court.
3. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information and records you enter.
- You will use the Service lawfully and will not upload content you do not have the right to share.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
- You will not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or misuse the Service.
4. Subscriptions, purchases & auto-renewal
- The subscription is $3.99 per month and the Verified Record Package is a $75 one-time purchase (prices may change with notice).
- Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play are billed to your store account and renew automatically each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Except where required by law or store policy, payments are non-refundable. Store purchases are also subject to the applicable app store's terms.
5. Records & data
To preserve integrity, entries are designed to be immutable and tamper-evident; corrections are added as separate records rather than overwriting originals. Your use of your own data is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by ClockIt and protected by law. You retain ownership of the content and records you create; you grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to operate the Service for you.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that records will be accepted by any court or third party.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClockIt is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or outcomes arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms. You may request account deletion by emailing hello@clockitparents.com.
10. Apple & Google app stores
If you download the app from the Apple App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies. Apple and Google are not responsible for the Service or for support, and are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms with the right to enforce them.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing law & contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of your applicable jurisdiction (to be specified). Questions? Email hello@clockitparents.com.
